Jacek Glinka

President of the Management Board

 

Mr Glinka began his professional career with Delloitte & Touche in strategic consultancy department; then he served as the Vice President of A.T. Kearney, a strategic consultancy company. From 2004 to 2006 he was the President of the Management Board of Polpharma SA Pharmaceutical Works and Polpharma Trade Office. Mr Glinka was the President of the Supervisory Board of Lubelskie Zakłady Farmaceutyczne POLFA SA, AOA Akrikhin, the Vice President of Herbapol-Lublin SA, as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of Medana Pharma Terpol Group SA and Zakłady Tłuszczowe Kruszwica SA. From 2006 a member of the Supervisory Board of Polpharma SA Pharmaceutical Works, in 2009 returned to the position of the President of the Management Board. In January 2010 he was appointed to the position of the President of Polpharma Trade Office.

 

 

Włodzimierz Gryglewicz

Vice President of the Management Board

 

Mr Gryglewicz graduated from Wrocław University of Technology with a PhD degree in technical sciences and holds a MBA degree from University of Illinois (USA). He began his professional career as an academic at Wrocław University of Technology. Worked for such companies as Coca-Cola, Scholler – Foodstuffs and Brok Brewery, where he was responsible for financial management. Since 2002 Mr Gryglewicz has been associated with Polpharma as the Finance Director and a member of the Management Board. From March 2008 to November 2009 he served as the President of the Management Board of the company. Presently, Mr Gryglewicz is the Vice President of the Management Board of Polpharma SA Pharmaceutical Works, in charge of economic and financial affairs.

 

 

Theodore Iliopoulos

Graduated from the University of Athens as a Chemist and has an impressive thirty seven-year career in Pharmaceutical Operations, first working for 13 years for Greek national companies before joining Bristol Myers Squibb in 1986 in a key Quality Assurance position. He was rapidly promoted in BMS into site management roles and then into multi site responsibilities, first having the European plants reporting to him and finally he was responsible for all BMS plants in the Americas as VP Manufacturing of the Americas. In 2002, after 15 years service with BMS, he joined Polpharma as Chief Operating Officer where he gained a tremendous understanding of the functioning of all aspects of the generic pharmaceutical industry and the health care sector in general in Eastern Europe. In 2004 he moved to Patheon, a leading global contract manufacturing and development services organization, where he spend 2 years as VP Operations Europe before rejoining Polpharma in his previous role. At Polpharma he is responsible for the industrial operations (infrastructure, supply chain, engineering, production) and for the Fine Chemicals Business Unit. 

 

 

Bożenna Kozakiewicz

A graduate of Chemistry Faculty at Warsaw University, has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, gained at a number of positions. Since 2000 she has been working for Polpharma. Presently, Ms Kozakiewicz serves as a Vice President of the Management Board of Polpharma SA Pharmaceutical Works. She is in charge of strategic sourcing and business development.
 
 

Brina Ornik

Brina Ornik

Having graduated from the University of Ljubljana as a chemist, she stayed at the University until successfully completed PhD in Organic Chemistry. After postdoctoral studies at the University in Brussels she started working for Lek, Pharmaceutical Company Ljubljana (1994) in Quality Assurance. She was then promoted to a managerial position within R&D as the Head of Area and was appointed R&D Director in 1998, being responsible for leading fully fledged Center for development of finished dosage forms, API and biopharmaceuticals. She maintained this position for 10 years, out of which the last 6 years within Sandoz Group, and in the meantime successfully completed MBA studies. For the last two years Ms Ornik served as the Director of Sterile Site of Sandoz.
In Polpharma she is a nominated Vice President of the Management Board and Research & Business Development Director responsible for R&D, Strategic Portfolio Development, Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property. 
 
 

Tomasz Moys

Mr Moys graduated from Chemistry Faculty at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and holds an MBA degree jointly awarded by University of Gdańsk, Copenhagen Business School, Universiteit Antwerpen and Fachhochschule fur Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. In 1989 he began his professional career at the then Starogard Pharmaceutical Works Polfa (later Pharmaceutical Works Polpharma SA) as a production foreman. From 1998 to 2001 he managed the Department of Quality Assurance and Control, playing a key role in the process of establishment, launch and validation of the most important manufacturing facility of Polpharma for production of solid medicines. Since 2002 Mr Moys has been the director of the largest operational unit – Pharma. He is responsible for all operations of the unit, including production of solid and parenteral forms, maintenance, quality control, planning and budgeting.
 
 

Zbigniew Miryn

Zbigniew Miryn

In 1975 Mr Miryn graduated from Pharmacy Faculty at Medical University of Gdańsk. In the same year he joined Starogard Pharmaceutical Works Polfa. At first he worked as a production foreman, then – as a manager of Tablet Manufacturing Facility. From 1999 to 2005 Mr Miryn took an active part in the process of launch and organization of a new facility for production of solid forms, being at the same time its manager. Since 2005, as an independent senior specialist, he has been responsible for management and implementation of various projects within Pharma Business Unit. In 2007 he was elected to the Management Board of Polpharma as an employee representative.
