We are  a backwards vertically integrated industry using the benefits of own development of APIs and Finished Dosage Forms.

 

The company’s operational plan encompasses compliance with global regulatory requirements, the support of its customers, and the promotion of a culture that demonstrates continuous innovation and improvement.

 

The goal is to produce finished products with maximum efficiency and appropriate cost, while meeting strict regulations and varying customer demands, combined with the best supply chain management/reporting tools like Oracle ERP, advanced planning and scheduling and warehouse management systems. Integrated planning and scheduling features, provide rule-based planning and programming tailored to different items and customer demand.

 

The quality management system underpinning the company’s quality objective is based on the establishment of a risk-management framework for regulatory compliance reflecting EU guidelines and FDA guidance, which determines risks associated with the production of safe and reliable products. Plant production and infrastructure maintenance activities are scheduled using modern CMMS system, reducing the risk of production down time.

 

Additionally, Polpharma Group is expanding its production capacities. In 2010, we introduced a new glass ampoule filling line, and two new highly efficient blistering and packaging lines into production, reaching capacity of 250 million blisters per year.

Polpharma Group environmental protection programs and self-sustaining initiatives aim at minimizing the quantity and impact of pollution, arising from certain industrial and other processes, and improving working conditions and public health. They are designed and being implemented by our employees and seek to provide a cleaner environment in the wider Starogard area and to the community where our chemical facilities operate.

In order to effectively manage environmental protection, and health and safety in the workplace, Polpharma has implemented the Integrated Management System of Environmental Health and Safety. The compliance with the requirements of the international standards has been confirmed by ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/PN-N-18001 accreditations.

 

All manufacturing processes have been adjusted to meet the requirements of the EU Directive on integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC). As a result of this, the company has obtained an Integrated Permit.
