We are competent and competitive. Our goal is to deliver a product to the market the first day after patent expiry. Product development is time-consuming but in recent years we have taken several steps to accelerate this process. We achieve it through:

• own development with outsourced active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs),
• vertical integrated projects with Polpharma’s Fine Chemicals Business Unit,
• co-development with foreign partners for products that cannot be developed in-house.

We actively protect our innovations through patent applications.
 

Project management and bioequivalence

The development process of a new product is operated by using a Project Management System, which enables the coordination of the activities of different departments within the requested timeframes and budget. As a consequence, we can shorten the time of delivering the product to the market. We co-operate with established clinical research organizations (CROs) to conduct clinical studies.
