Polpharma assist in its of harmonious coexistence with the natural environment and undertakes all the activities necessary to minimize the impacts of its production on the environment.
The activities of Polpharma for the benefit of ecology include:
- application of modern and environmentally-friendly technologies,
- limiting the amount of pollutants emitted,
- rational resource management,
- monitoring of the production process and its impact on the environment,
- ecological education and promotion of pro-ecology behavior.
Polpharma has implemented the Environmental Protection Policy, Green Chemistry Policy and observes all the requirements of Polish and European law in that respect. It also has all the necessary ecological permits, including the most important one – the so-called “Integrated Permit”, based on the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive.
