In accordance with the intention of the founders, the Foundation for the Development of Polish Pharmacy and Medicine annually announces a competition for the best research projects in the field of pharmaceutical and medical sciences.
In accordance with the intention of the founders, the Foundation for the Development of Polish Pharmacy and Medicine annually announces a competition for the best research projects in the field of pharmaceutical and medical sciences.
Currently the 9th issue of the competition is in progress and it is open for Original work contributing important values to medicine and pharmacy. The deadline for the submission of work is on May 31, 2010.
From the moment of its establishment in 2001 the Foundation conducted eight issues of the competition, to which over 300 research projects were sent. As a result of the competition proceedings, 40 research teams have already received grants. The implementation of the selected work is financed by the Foundation.
The funds that are allocated to the statutory activities of the Foundation all originate from the budget of POLPHARMA SA Pharmaceutical Works in Starogard Gdański. The Company donated over 14 million zlotys to that respective cause.
