Scholarship programme

In October 2006, the Foundation for Development of Polish Pharmacy and Medicine launched a scholarship programme for PhD students at medical universities and CMKP (Medical Postgraduate Studies Centre). Within the programme, 5 scholarships of PLN 10,000 each will be granted every two years.

Candidates for the scholarship have to be put forward by their universities, and winners will be selected in a contest organized by the Foundation. Applications for the scholarship will be received until the end of December 2006.

“Thanks to our daily cooperation with academics, the authorities of the Foundation are well aware of the difficult financial situation faced by PhD students.” – says Wojciech Kuźmierkiewicz, Board President of the Foundation. “Earlier, we tried to help them by awarding money prizes for exceptional study achievements. Now we have decided to go one step further and declare our continuous financial support. We trust that this way we will help, if only partially, in their further development.”
