EU Subventions to Polpharma Projects

27-08-2007

Two R&D projects of Polpharma were financed with more than PLN 4,700,000 as a part of The Sectoral Operational Programme "Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, years 2004-2006".

Funding amounting to 35% of eligible cost was granted to two applications made towards the end of 2006. The said projects concern development of recipes of drugs used in the therapy of schizophrenia and launch of their production. The applications were made as part of subactivity 1.4.1 SOP ICE: “Goal-oriented Projects Including Applied Research and Development (Industrial and Pre-competitive Projects Implemented by Enterprises or Groups of Enterprises Independently or in Co-operation with R&D Institutions Only.”) The ceremony of signature of agreements on funding the successful projects took place in the Primate’s Palace in Warsaw on 4 June 2007.

Wojciech Kuźmierkiewicz, Industrial Policy Director, receives the certificate confirming the granting of funding of R&D projects by the European Union from Olaf Gajl, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
