The purpose of the competition was to draw public attention to the beauty of the Kociewie region, to discover and popularise places of particular natural value in this region, and to make the local community more sensitive to the subject of environmental protection. It was the following event under the "Friends with Nature" Programme undertaken by the company.

From among 201 photographs received, the jury selected 3 top laureates and 5 distinctions.
