Enterprise Project Management incorporated into Polpharma Fine Chemicals Business Unit

To adopt an Enterprise Project Management way of working, Polpharma has set up Project Management Office in its Fine Chemicals Business Unit.

The main goal of this implementation was a support to the R&D team from technical side by providing a source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management planning and execution. The new system will enable visibility, insight, and control across the entire project life cycle.

Project management process within Fine Chemicals Business Unit is run with Project Portfolio Management practices. This  enables to identify and select the investments that will maximize business value. After the portfolio is agreed constant analysis is conducted to check how the individual projects are evolving in terms of quality, cost and schedule.
