International students’ conference

On 10-11 July 2009, the 7th International Conference of Student Research Groups of the Medical University of Warsaw was held at Polpharma. Its central theme were “Medical Problems of the year 2009”.
This year, Polpharma was visited by close to 200 students from Polish medical universities, as well as those from other countries, such as Ukraine or Turkey. The participants presented their work on topics related to family medicine, internal diseases and surgery.
The conference was also attended by Prof. Kazimierz A. Wardyn – President of the Scientific Committee, Prof. Krzysztof Czajkowski, MD, PhD – President of the Polish Gynaecological Society, Prof. Marek Kulus, MD, PhD – Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Medical University of Warsaw for Didactics and Education, as well as representatives of the Bukovinian State Medical University.
