Ranking of Responsible Companies lists the largest Polish enterprises which are evaluated with respect to the quality of their social responsibility activities. This year's ranking, which was published by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily, was developed by the experts from the Centre of Business Ethics, under the patronage of the Forum of Responsible Business. The survey was audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

Polpharma's 15th place in this year's ranking means that the company moved 11 places up as compared with the last year. At the same time, this is the third place among the Polish companies which are not part of international concerns, right after PGNiG and PKN Orlen.

 

The ranking was developed on the basis of a survey including 60 questions grouped in 6 blocks corresponding to companies' areas of business, such as: principles of social responsibility, relations with customers, business partners and employees, environmental responsibility and social involvement. The survey was sent to the 500 largest Polish companies.
