Since 2007, we have cooperated with student organisations (Student Governments, Young Pharmacy) on a research and training project “Knowledge Pharm” which is addressed to pharmacy and medicine students from all medical universities in Poland. Since the launch of the programme, we have organised 24 conferences for 2,400 students from 10 Polish medical universities.
The Knowledge Pharm project provides future health care practitioners with an opportunity to complement university knowledge with new issues important for their future careers.
We make every effort to meet their expectations and select topics to be discussed at the conferences so as to accommodate participants’ needs. Future pharmacists discover the different aspects and industrial practice of developing and manufacturing generic drugs. The highlight of the offer for the students of medicine is a workshop on effective doctor-patient communication and its central role in ensuring better compliance, especially in patients with chronic conditions.
