Results of the first stage of the Research projects competition

This year’s edition topic was: Development and optimization of processes in medical biotechnology. Seven applications were submitted to the competition. Five of them were rejected by the Foundation's Scientific Council as they didn’t comply with the topic of the competition. 

Two projects were directed to be reviewed:

  • By dr hab. Aleksander Czogalla, from the Department of Cytobiochemistry, the Faculty of Biotechnology, the University of Wrocław, entitled “Designing, creating and testing the effectiveness of new TP53 gene carriers for use in cancer therapies.”
  • By dr n. biol. Agnieszka Graczyk-Jarzynka, from the Department of Immunology, Faculty of Medicine I, the Warsaw Medical University, entitled “Development of a platform of chimeric antigen receptors under the control of inducible expression systems activated in the tumor environment.”
